The Brief

I collaborated as part of a creative team to design a new look and feel for a digital book exploring future trends in education. Our goal was to create a modern, engaging visual identity that reflects the evolving role of education in a rapidly changing world.

As the book highlights: "As the world faces a new set of global challenges, education systems will become a central part of the solution." The design complements this vision by combining forward-thinking aesthetics with clear, accessible layouts that support impactful storytelling and data-driven insights.

Color

The Google colour palette is used to create a vibrant, cohesive visual identity. By incorporating Google's bold, primary colours throughout illustrations, icons, and layouts, the design reinforces brand recognition while bringing energy and clarity to the content.

Font

Google Fonts is used to achieve a clean, minimal, and modern look, enhancing readability while aligning with Google’s visual identity. The typography supports a streamlined layout that feels both professional and approachable.

A mix of serif and sans-serif typefaces was used to create a more stylized and editorial feel, echoing the look of the print magazine. This combination brings a sense of structure and personality to the site, helping it feel more like a true digital extension of the publication.
