The new app aims to deliver relevant information and content at the right place and time. To guide, inspire, help, inform and nudge you closer up to the final purchase funnel. The app will be more than a travel calculator and now is your helpful honest ally.

The Brief


The current Skyscanner app is a cold and transactional experience, so how can we create an experience that is engaging and personal. How do we build trust with our users and make them feel inspired every-time they use out App. Creating sticky experiences that give value every-time you come back, focused on personalization through an seamless onboarding experience, search that is focused on what you like and monetization that allows for a range of opportunities to partner with brands.

The Skyscanner widgets give a new way with engaging in content in a contemporary way with interacting maps from displaying the price, editorial copy, feed based and best time to go. The new app will focus on a strong onboarding and profile building. The more users come back, the more opportunities we have to upsell and monetize with content pre and post search. The more users come back the more likely they will search and buy.

Design a solution to adopt and maintain the habit of running that takes into consideration the human factors and motivations used in User Experience Design to help a user stay motivated. The following design solution includes key features such as Goal Setting, Tracking Progress, Personalization and Customization, Rewards, Gamification, Community, Challenges, Location and much more. A solution that encourages someone to run, maintain the habit and to simply enjoy the habit of running.
